NAME. Poussiéreux
GENDER. Female
AGE. Six
BREED. Appaloosa x Selle Francais
EYE COLOR. Light Brown
HEART. Neutral
APPEARANCE.
PERSONALITY. Poussiéreux is a sweet natured vix with a broken heart. She cries easily, even over things like a crushed flower, and holds onto pain till she feels suicidal. Jigsaw really stole her heart away; he died with it. She tries her best to be cheerful and smile but her smiles are pained, and her cheer is rather false. She just needs love more than anything, to fix her broken heart. She also speaks French and English, so don’t be surprised. She’s lonely and sad, but is happy to socialize, and takes particular interest in dapple-gray stallions, that might remind her of Jigsaw. Poussiéreux is really, really kind and she’ll be a loyal friend if you win her over. She frightens easily, but she lived with a dark for several months (and therefore switched her alliance) so she is a lot tougher than she seems. But not much.
HISTORY. Poussiéreux was a sweet natured light to begin with. Soft and caring, Poussiéreux was raised in a herd of Appaloosas and Selle Francais. The Selle's were originally from France and spoke the language fluently. There were only a few Appaloosas and they were young and picked up on the language surprisingly well. The whole herd soon spoke both tongues, and mixed them into a wonderful blend of Frenglish. Or Engench. Regardless, the herd was bilingual and generally all of the females were hopeless romantics, which seemed to go hand in hand with being half or fully French. Poussiéreux, however, was mixed though she didn't care. Her mother was a Selle and her father an Appaloosa. Both of her parents doted upon their leopard spotted daughter and loved her. Poussiéreux was told all the ancient romances, and she and her friends liked to play "Love" and "Heartbreak Herd" and other cheesy, lovey-dovey games.
When Poussiéreux was three, she left her family herd to find her true love. She was sent off on a tearful farewell from her family. She soon entered the lands of Run Like the Wind, where things got heated up fast. Poussiéreux met a dark named Jigsaw, who was twisted, handsome and lonely. She joined him in his manor and they lived together there in a blissful, honeymoon-like state. But one day, Jigsaw had to leave the manor on business and refused to let his darling “Frenchie” accompany him. Not wanting to anger her master-and lover- Poussiéreux decided to stay home and Jigsaw left, promising to be home in three days or less. Three days went by, and there was no sign of him. After a week, Poussiéreux started to search the grounds surrounding the manor, expecting the worst. Two weeks. Three weeks. Nothing. The fourth week, there was a great storm, and on the third night of it, Jigsaw returned. Beaten, bloody and near death. She wept for him, and did everything in her power to bring life back into his veins, but to no avail. He died soon after, and that was the end of that.
Poussiéreux lived in the lands of RLTW for about a year, after Jigsaw died at her feet. She stayed with his body for days, until the stench of the rotting flesh drove her away. When the stallion Lebraid claimed the house, she went crazy, and almost attacked him. Almost. She took a brief rest in another land, and never returned to RLTW, where she hopes to start over. But the grief is harder to shake than she thought, so beware of her tears and distracted, shifty moods.
