Personality Izma is a highly dominant mare. She isn't power hunger, but will put others back in their place if they step over the line. She is energetic and seems as if she can go all day. She isn't too hyper, and doesn't act like a filly, but her energy comes in the form of being able to carry conversations and keep others entertained. Izma is the bold, curious one that has to touch everything new that she sees. She learns quickly but loses the focus needed to pay attention. She likes variety in her life and gets bored if there is none. She is personable, interactive and communicative. She tries to figure you out, and usually tries to please you. She loves attention. She is loved by most of the other horses she meets. She's highly expressive and sensitive and emotional. You will know how she feels. She tries very hard to please and will worry and be anxious if you are not happy with her. In the negative, she can have scattered energy that is hard to get focused. Others can love on her as much as they want.
History Growing up, the mare was always given much love. Her mother gave her much attention and love while her father kept her disciplined enough to keep her from getting spoiled. As she grew into a lovely mare, her markings began to amaze her parents. No one around that herd had ever seen brindling. She immediately became the interest in the herd. Before she was two, she had had males courting her. She never gave them a second glance though, and ignored them. With as many courtiers as she had, she had grown sick of the attention. She consulted her mother, then her father, and with a compromise made, all stallions and colts were to stay away from her and leave her alone. When she finally hit two years old, the other part of the compromise came, she was ready to leave and go. With a heavy heart and tears of love for her parents, she left the herd, off to find a new home. Now at three years of age, a whole year later of traveling with gypsies, she is here.
