What if it makes you lose faith in me? What if makes you question every moment you cannot see?
The cold night was nothing the chocolate palomino mare was shy of, she knew the cold she also knew the silence that enveloped her. She wasn’t alone. But maybe she was.. Nope there, far behind on her left haunch side a twig snapped and her ears flickered. Her muzzle twitched as it took in the sent of what followed her, three of them. Wolves all thinking she was easy prey. HA! She slowed her pace down and stopped. One foolishly approached from behind and went to snap at her hind legs, of course she herd every movement, her hind legs propelled out and she felt and herd the crack of skull that resignated behind her, this both frightened and excited the other two as they moved to face her and began to leap at her together she waited and as they came towards her she reared up flailing her hooves and grinning as one hoof caught on a wolfs tail she herd it yelp the other wolf trying to aide it’s comrade bit her forepillar and she snorted feeling the blood trickle along the white sock on her left foreleg, she trashed her head knocking the one wolf against a boulder and then she released the one under her hoof it took off yelping causing her to flick her Ears back because of the annoying sound.
During the fight, her eyes had become uncovered by her thick forelock and she shook her head until they where once again covered by the creamy tresses, she almost blended in, her dark hide with the dark around her, and her creamy tresses almost blending in with the snow around her. But she didn’t stay where she was instead she broke into a frisky trot heading towards the water sorce, but as she got closer she could hear the water grumble and growl louder. Must be a waterfall was her only thought as she moved to the water, and she was right, she was rarely wrong as she moved up to her knees in the freezing water the cold helped the bleeding leg to stop its bleeding and then she lowered her crown parted her charcoal kissers, and began to drink her eyes covered by her creamy veil closed.
The words i spill:375 And the horror ive seen: OPEN! And the way I think: Fay is a sweet heart, but has no confidence in herself cause she's blind.

nitroglycerine - stand back baby, and watch me burn the watering hole was host to much more than just the young mare on this night, as was to be found out soon enough by the echoing sounds of another set of hoofbeats coming from the west. long pistons moved in a two beat gait, speeding up as the sounds of water echoed through the blood bay soundcatchers, the scent of the fresh pool leading her further and further into the forest. dark eyes, so blue they looked almost black, sparkled with life and an almost innocent sort of naivety, but also the knowledge of the dangers that surrounded her at all hours of the day and night, as well as a different gleam that stretched into the depths of her colored orbs. along her facial features, a white star sat regally over her crown, streaking down into a wide stripe and a small snip on top of her upper velveteen kisser, and all set against a backdrop of blood red that was shortly followed by a pair of flaxen gold banners that were held up proudly, like a queen making her way through her homeland. but this young mare of blood and ivory was no queen, not in either title or blood, but it didn't mean she couldn't dream, did it? after all, wasn't that every mare's dream, to be a queen with a loyal king at her side, ruling over subjects and keeping them safe from harm? a soft giggle escaped the five year old mix as she flicked her tassle, still moving along at her gallant trot towards the water source. 'yeah right, as if i'll ever be a queen one day, i can barely keep a friendship for a week, how could i hold onto the loyalty of a herd for a lifetime?' she asked herself, lyrics singing through her mind like a soft tune, both familiar yet sorrowful in nature.
but what she spoke within her mind rang true; no matter how hard the blood bay woman tried, lasting friendship was a thing that kept alluding her. she could make the friends very easily, but then her little... problem would rear its ugly head and then she'd be back to square one, alone and without a friend in the world. it wasn't like she could control her 'problem' like others could, because if she could she really would, but she couldn't, so she had to deal with it and live with what it brought her. for a moment, a saddened sparkle entered the five year old's orbs, thinking back to all the pain she had given the ones she had called friend, although she wasn't sure she could call herself such after what she did. 'i didn't mean to hurt them like i did...' she told herself for the hundreth time, her speed slightly lessening as she lowered her dial a little, lobes lowering backwards as she sighed softly to herself. it didn't last long though, for soon with a shake of her crown, she had picked up speed again, pushing those depressing thoughts and images of each of her friends' injuries away from her mind's eye. 'can't think about that for now, gotta keep going; a drink will calm me down.' she smiled softly to herself, relishing in the thought of feeling the cool liquid flow down her throat. yes, that would definiately make her feel better, no doubt about it. so, with renewed vigor in her spirit, the femme kept going onward, her tassle flashing behind her as she took to a lazy three step gait; the faster she got there, the better.
the sound of moving water got louder and louder with each step she took, until finally, after what seemed like an eternity alone with her darkening thoughts, she found it; a small pool of clean water with a waterfall feature that the blood bay found somewhat cute. giggling softly to herself, the young mare moved forward towards the edge, arching her boa down and dipping her dial towards the clean liquid with a sense of relief about her. a chill ran down her spine as her sensetitve kissers met the cool water, but it soon gave way to the sensation of calm that flooded her senses as the water was brought into her mouth and drained down her throat, soothing any itch of thirst that there could've been and refreshing her completely; body and soul... well, at least until she got a mouthfull of water that didn't taste all that right. lifting her muzzle away from the water's edge, dark blue hues blinked curiously as she studied what seemed to be normal water to her gaze, but to the taste it seemed... unsettled. perhaps a fish had swam by and kicked up some dirt with its fins? well, that was the theory, until she lifted her gaze slightly and caught sight of the other equine not five feet away from herself. 'okay, how did i miss that?' was the question that rang through her mind as she stepped back a bit in her surprise; apparently, she'd been so wrapped up in her thoughts, she had completely missed the sight of another equine in the vicitiny... that, or she was just not paying close enough attention, she wasn't sure. "i'm sorry, i didn't see you there... oh, how rude of me! i should've asked permission before drinking in your waterhole... i'm so sorry..." endless rambles escaped the lips of the young mare as she tried to form an apology for her lack of judgement... she'd not known this waterhole belonged to someone, and now she'd probably made him - or her, she couldn't tell at this moment - angry... great...

Fay What if it makes you lose faith in me? What if makes you question every moment you cannot see?
Fay listened to the other approach, the way she carried herself was undeniably a mare, and she figured no older than sixty moons. She listened and then shook her creamy tresses before closing her orbs. She could feel the sorrow it was just a sense she had gained since the loss of her vision. She perked her ears listening to the mare she was now lowering her head to drink. Fay couldn’t tell where the mare had lowered her muzzle to drink and wanted to tell her not to because foolish Fay had decided to clean her wound out. Now Fay felt extreamly stupid. But as she herd the mare raise her head she listened to the lyrics that spilled from the mare and she had given her own giggle. “Do not be sorry. I am sorry I tainted the water. It should be fine again in a few moments. I am sorry.” She spoke gently but wise beyond wise for her meer 36 moons. She reached over for the mare but all the while her transparent blue eyes hidden by her thick forlock, the thickness an inherit from her mustang genes, her coloration from the Canadian rocky mountain horse within. But remembering the past made the mare spin on her haunches and move up the bank. She was blind! No one wanted to be near her! No one would care about her! And what was worse! No one would ever love her. The little Silver Dapple mare bowed her head to the mare before standing at her full height of fifteen hands and two inches and though she looked on guard one would never see through the thick locks of forelock that covered her eyes still, but as it split eve so perfectly here was the heart shape star that showed through like a the moon shone against the blackened sky. Her coloration was different from most there whern’t many silver dapples, and fewer like Fay, she accepted anyone that would accept her. And now a days… That wasn’t many. “I’m Fay…” She spoke her name in a whisper barely even audioable over the water as it moved but she wasn’t worried. If the mare was worried she would have either herd it, or she would ask Fay to repeat herself. Fay had learnt not to push her luck and that was what she was doing. Not pushing her luck. The last thing she needed was to have a fight with someone after wounding herself with the wolves… Instead the average sized mare stayed where she was and waited, listening to her sroundings wh vigor and her new companion if only temporarily. One day though… She would prove the world blind horses where not so useless! She would make a name for those that suffered like she did. She would let those that where unwanted know they where wanted… She just… had to get there. The way the mare held herself was different for most mares… She looked like a fighter. And that was what she was. She looked as though she could take the world on. And win. That was what was so special about Fay.. .She had never lost Faith in fighting, never lost faith in herself… Just in others. As the silver dapple stayed as still as a statue all but her twin towers that seemed to move at sounds that a normal horse just couldn’t hear. But her increased hearing due to blindness was better than a normal horses…
